S & S Building Specialties Inc., formerly S & S Shelving Systems, was established in 1985 as a Closet Maid dealer, installing ventilated shelving systems for builders in the Charlotte market. Since then, the company has expanded it’s product offering to include door hardware, bathroom accessories, mirrors & glass and shower enclosures. Today, we are the premier supplier of frameless shower doors and glass products to both consumers and remodelers and are known as the Shower Door Super Store. From design through installation, we provide prompt, courteous service and expert advice.

The company was founded on the principals of providing a quality product at competitive prices and timely delivery. S & S has built a sound reputation, as a reliable supplier of “After Paint” products and services to bathroom remodelers. Our lines now include Moen, Alumax, Quickset, Schlage, Closet Maid, and will be adding select vanity cabinets and kitchen islands in the near future.
