In 1976, Roy Porter opened the doors of Porter Family Contracting. He began working with a small, close-knit team and focused on extensive training and great customer service. Over 40 years later, these aspects are still the foundation of the business. This is how we’ve been able to grow in an era where not many family businesses have been able to survive.
In 2002, Roy’s son Justin was able to join the team full-time. He spent his adolescence learning the ins and outs of the business from his dad, and is well prepared to carry on the same core values in the future. Today, Roy and Justin manage a team of 8 full-time employees and also maintain great relationships with local architects and other tradesmen. We’re able to provide the personal experience of a mom-and-pop shop on residential and commercial projects of all sizes.
At Porter Family Contracting, the little details make all of the difference. In addition to the highest quality workmanship, we go out of our way to ensure that our team is always polite and courteous. We understand that living or working in a construction site is never easy, which is why we take the time to cover and protect our clients’ property both inside and outside of the home. We’ll never stain a carpet, scratch your floors, or ruin your garden.
