After purchasing my 3rd home by age 23 I realized that customer service was sorely lacking in the mortgage industry and I felt like there was an opportunity to make a difference there. Several years of sales and customer service experience had taught me that customer service needed to be the priority. Thus, in June 2005 I began working in the refinance industry, later shifting into the home purchasing side in 2012 where my focus became helping consumers with home ownership. That same year I joined NRL Mortgage and formed my own branch (League City #181407) and The Matthew Hyde Team to better help my growing client base and change the process of buying to be more streamlined and simplified.
