I have engaged Jay on several wide ranging projects over 15 years from installing crown molding throughout, to almost a complete new build from studs, drywall, new floors, electrical, plumbing on another home we are updating. Madison has done Kitchens, Bathrooms, banisters and  wooden decks for other neighbors.

Jay acts as general contractor and calls on his personally trusted tradesman, electricians, plumbers, wood flooring guys as required.  Everyone has been top notch…professionals who knew exactly what was to be done, showed up on time, gave us great advice and kept to the quotes they provided.

Madison Builders business is totally by word-of-mouth, so shortly after his truck and trailer are seen parked in a neighbor’s driveway, there is usually a parade of folks heading down to see Jay about work they would like to have done at their house.

Jay’s attitude reminds me of  “Holmes on Holmes” in that he has zero tolerance for complete shoddy, non-professional work or shortcuts that will hurt you later.  Madison Builders has been very competitive but if your ONLY concern is cost, grab a handyman business card from the cork board at your local diner or church  Not every job needs a professional.
