IRC General Contractors has been successfully servicing the Bay Area since May 1989.  IRC was founded by Peter Katsafouros, who still plays a hands on role in the business.

With IRC you will consistently get top quality regardless of the job size and complexity. All employees are trained by Peter, who continues to be involved in the management of his project teams to ensure the same level of quality is maintained across all aspects of any IRC project. Additionally, a site foreman is present at every job to address customer questions as they arise.  At IRC General Contractors, our motto is “On Time and On Budget”. Given this motto, we are very good at estimating time, resources and material needed for any project. Customer satisfaction is always the best advertisement.

Over the years, in addition to completing hundreds of single family residential projects, IRC has worked on several multi-unit developments which have consistently experienced problems since the time they were built. The scope of these projects has included stripping the homes to expose the existing studs (and replacing as needed), re-sheeting, re-flashing, re-wrapping, and re-siding with fiber cement. These projects are often completed while the residences are occupied.

IRC is licensed, fully insured, and a current member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. In fact, IRC has been on the BBB Honor Roll every year since 1989 for outstanding customer service without complaints.  IRC is personally vested in every project we take on.  We take great pride in our work, and our stellar client references are a testament to that.
