Horstman Homes Inc

Horstman Homes, Inc. has been building homes for over 25 years.  Owner Jim Horstman has a solid background in Construction and Construction Management.  His entire career has been in the Construction Industry.  Jim has extensive experience supervising and overseeing large commercial projects.  In 1989 he started his own company, J/H and Son building Custom Homes.  In subsequent years Jim incorporated, and changed the company name to Horstman Homes, Inc.  After 35 years of Union projects, Jim decided to devote all of his time to building custom homes, retiring form one job, only to continue building and providing low cost, high quality custom homes full time.  Jim has consistently exceeded the expectations of homeowners for the quality and services he provided.  Although the business is located in Hendricks County, we have built homes in Hendricks, Boone, Marion, Morgan, Johnson, and Hamilton Counties.  Besides custom homes, Jim’s expertise includes room additions, foundations, basements, patios, driveways and retaining walls. While building many homes for satisfied individuals and families, Jim has also built basements and foundations for other contractors. A new design concept for Horstman Homes, Inc., while building homes with crawl spaces, includes what he calls a STORM SHELTER. He feels the protection of family during severe weather is crucial.  Midwestern families need a safe place to retreat during severe weather times. The STORM SHELTER  he can incorporate into the foundation should alleviate many people’s fears and concerns during inclement weather.  The concrete walls willprovide them with protection.  (Please contact Jim Horstman for more information on Storm Shelters.)
