Barnes Plumbing Co. Inc. started in 1982 when Jeff and Bill Barnes decided they wanted to open their own shop. A flip of a coin decided who was going to be the President and Vice-President. Starting off in the basement of an apartment building near Franklin Ave. in Minneapolis, they soon outgrew the space and have since been operating in their own building near Dowling Ave and I-94.
In August of 2010, Bill and Jeff Barnes made the hard decision to retire. The company was purchased by Michael Pemberton, a long time employee of 10 years. Michael believes in the same principles that Bill and Jeff had with their company of being fair, honest, and giving quality service.
Barnes Plumbing relies mostly on word-of-mouth referrals. They have been successful in this way because of the way they choose to run their business: Fair, Honest, Quality Service.
For almost three decades, Barnes Plumbing has stood by quality work, fair pricing, and superior service to satisfy the plumbing and heating needs of customers.
